SHERIDAN — A total of 22 players from Sheridan County made the list for the 2018 All-State football team.

Big Horn led the way with 13 All-State players from its state title team. Kade Eisele earned Defensive Player of the Year, while Seth Mullinax received recognition as the Lineman of the Year. Carson Bates, Cutler Bradshaw, Liam Greenelsh, Ryan Johnson, Quinn McCafferty, Jack Nance, Kyler Ostler, Jaxon Parker, Will Pelissier, Nolan Rader and Kade VanDyken rounded out the list of distinguished Rams.

Big Horn head coach Kirk McLaughlin was named Coach of the Year, and assistant Andrew Marcure received Assistant Coach of the Year honors.

Parker Christensen led the way for Sheridan as he earned Offensive Player of the Year, first-team kick return specialist, first-team linebacker and first-team running back. Garrett Coon, Eli Johnston and Ethan Lewallen also made first- or second-team on both offense and defense. Josh Ahrens was recognized as a first-team wide receiver, and Quinn Heyneman made it as a first-team defensive back. Jaron Brewer capped the list for the Broncs as a second-team defensive back.

AJ Lytton and Zack Shankey of Tongue River also earned All-State recognition.
