BIG HORN — The Brinton Museum will celebrate American Indian Heritage Day on Saturday.
Historian Craig Howe and other members of the museum’s American Indian Advisory Council have organized a blessing, dancing, food and educational seminar.
The schedule is as follows:
• 10 a.m. — American Indian blessings followed by dancing and drumming
• noon — Lunch prepared by the Brinton Bistro
• 2 p.m. — Howe presentation: Seven things everyone should know about American Indians
Admission to the event is $10 for adults and free to American Indians with a valid tribal ID and museum members.
The Brinton Museum is located at 239 Brinton Road in Big Horn.
