TONGUE RIVER – Tongue River’s football team fell to 0-3 on the season after after losing 53-14 to Upton/Sundance Friday. 

The Eagles matched the Bobcats in the first quarter, and were tied 7-7 heading in to the second quarter. Upton/Sundance started to pull away in the second, however, scoring 20 points to Tongue River’s seven and went into halftime with a 27-14 lead. Tongue River got shut out in the second half, and the Bobcats closed out the game with two 13-point quarters. 

Tongue River will host Pine Bluffs next week.
