SHERIDAN — The Sheridan High School golf team participated in the Gillette Invitational Monday and Tuesday. The Lady Broncs placed third as a team with a score of 565, while the Broncs finished fourth with a final tally of 709.

Abby James boasted her second top-five finish in as many starts. She placed in a tie for fourth with a score of 175. Libby Gardner recorded a 193, and Hannah Detmer logged a 197 to round out Sheridan’s scorers.

Brayden James paced the boys team, logging a top-10 finish. He carded a 158 to tie for sixth. Alex Sanders fired a 179, while Sean Sanders and Nolan Billings recorded a 181 and 191, respectively.

Sheridan travels to Worland for a tournament Friday and Saturday.
