BIG HORN — At 3 p.m. Sunday, The Brinton Museum will host an artist reception for Paul Waldum’s “Wyoming and Montana Landscapes” exhibition.

Waldum will be featured in a one-person show of his pastel paintings, which will be on display through July.

Originally from Livingston, Montana, Waldum acquired a passion for the outdoors at a young age.

Over the past three decades he has spent days in the Cloud Peak Wilderness in the Bighorn Range as well as the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness in Montana gathering inspiration for his landscapes.

The Brinton’s show will encompass nearly 40 landscape works recently completed by the artist.

The event is free for members and is included in regular admission prices for nonmembers.

The Brinton is located at 239 Brinton Road in Big Horn.
