SHERIDAN — The University of Wyoming will offer a grafting and pruning workshop Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those planning to attend should dress for time outdoors.

Attendees will carpool to the T-T Ranch outside of Sheridan for the afternoon pruning demonstrations. Lunch will be provided.

The hands-on workshop will allow attendees to learn how to effectively graft fruit trees and to appropriately prune already established trees.

Dr. Steve Miller, founder of the Wyoming Apple Project, will teach proper grafting methods, while UW Extension Horticulture Specialist Christ Hilgert will demonstrate pruning.
