SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Swim Team traveled to Laramie to compete in the Wyoming Swimming Winter Championships. Sheridan placed fifth with 880 points in a field of 22 teams, while Lander won the meet with 1,678 points.

Taylor Baldacci led the way for Sheridan with three individual state titles. She won the 200-yard butterfly (2 minutes, 18.02 seconds), the 200-yard individual medley (2:16.83) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:33.25).

Jadyn Mullikin brought home a pair of state championships. She touched first in the 100- and the 200-yard backstrokes with times of 1:00.88 and 2:14.63, respectively.

Molly Green also found her way to the top of the podium in the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes with times of 1:00.32 and 2:16.3, respectively.

Finn McFadden claimed a state championship in the 25-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 21.02.

McFadden also anchored the 100-yard freestyle relay — Grayson Moore, Peyton Leimback and Maclane Moore — that topped the field with a time of 1:16.12.
