SHERIDAN — Dementia Friendly Wyoming will offer trainings in January and February for those wanting to learn more about being dementia friendly.

The sessions will last one hour and light refreshments will be provided.

After Dementia Friendly training, groups will be able to recognize the signs of dementia, communicate effectively with individuals with dementia and locate resources for individuals and care partners affected by dementia.

The trainings will take place:

• Jan. 17 at 8 a.m.

• Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m.

• Feb. 1 at 5:30 p.m.

• Feb. 8 at 8 a.m.

• Feb. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

• Feb. 28 at 8 a.m.

All trainings will take place at the Dementia Friendly offices located at 1 S. Scott St., Suite 2.
