SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Generals didn’t leave much to chance in Saturday’s game against Dawson Community College. Sheridan College built a 25-point first-half lead and eased to an 81-62 win, stretching its win streak to eight games.
Northwest College hosted the game, and for the second consecutive night, SC head men’s basketball coach Matt Hammer utilized every available player on his roster. Channel Banks led that group with 21 points on 8 of 14 shooting Saturday.
Camron Reece added 16 points while AJ Bramah and Laden Ricketts chipped in 13 and 10 points, respectively. Keenan Dowell came off the bench to score 13 points.
SC shot 53.6 percent (30 for 56) but was a little careless with the ball, turning it over 17 times to go alongside just 14 assists.
The Generals travel to Williston State for a couple of games Friday and Saturday before returning home Dec. 15 against Little Big Horn.
