SHERIDAN — Three Sheridan High School coaches found their way onto the Wyoming Coaches Association Coach of the Year list for the 2017 fall season.

Don Julian led the group of SHS coaches, earning 4A football coach of the year honors after leading the Broncs to their third consecutive state title and fifth in his 11-year tenure at the school. Julian surpassed the 100-win mark this season and delivered the Broncs’ first undefeated season since 1992.

Joining the WCA’s fall list was fellow football coach D.J. Dearcorn, who received recognition as one of the state’s top three assistant football coaches.

Kaelee Saner was also named an assistant coach of the year for her work with the SHS golf team. The Broncs took third at state.

Coaches of the year are selected by fellow WCA coaches. All coaches will be honored at the WCA Hall of Fame – Awards Banquet next summer.
