Specific language needed

Re: Constitutional
amendment on dark money

Recent articles about Wyoming Promise state their aim is to decrease the presence of dark money in politics through an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. That sounds good, but their website does not list specific amendment text they support.

Rather, they list the text of three bills on the topic. In general those bills emphasize that political contributions should be limited to natural persons as opposed to corporations. Well and good, but in this age of concern over “Russian hacking” of elections, the lack of language restricting the right to natural persons who are U.S. citizens is surprising.

Those who have no right to vote in our elections should have no right to influence the vote through political contributions.
