SHERIDAN — Employers and employees are invited to join the Dementia Friendly Wyoming project for breakfast and free business training about creating a dementia friendly workspace Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at The Hub on Smith.

Dementia Friendly business training provides information for an evaluation of your space to find simple ways to create a safe and welcoming environment, creation of a plan, resources to support staff and follow up and training of future staff. After the training, employees will be able to recognize the signs of dementia, communicate effectively with individuals with dementia and locate resources and assistance for individuals and care partners affected by dementia.

To register or to request an onsite training, call 307-461-7134. Requests also can be made at www.dfwsheridan.org. The Hub on Smith is located at 211 Smith St.
