SHERIDAN — Last year’s third-place winner at the University of Wyoming’s Ellbogen $30,000 competition, Dallin Cooper, has recently announced a contest that aims to help Wyoming businesses improve their marketing prowess and effectiveness.

Cooper’s company, Atmosphere Marketing, launched its Marketing Makeover Competition to help small businesses and brick-and-mortar stores use the digital world to their advantage.

“There are a lot of people out there that know their company needs a better presence on the web, but they don’t know how to improve it,” says Cooper. “This competition aims to help these people thrive here in Wyoming. I’m from Wyoming, and I want to see the state succeed, and so much of that is dependent on how well small businesses do. We think we can help.”

Entrants must be Wyoming-based businesses that have an interest in expanding their online presence or advancing their marketing techniques. One winner will be chosen to receive more than $3,000 worth of marketing services. To enter, contestants need to fill out the short entry form online at Entries close Nov. 4.

The winner will be announced Dec. 4.

After placing in the University of Wyoming’s 2017 Ellbogen Entrepreneurship 30K Competition, Atmosphere moved into the Wyoming Technology Business Center incubator and has since experienced rapid growth. Atmosphere’s mission is to help businesses in Wyoming find their place in the digital age and experience success while still being true to their local roots.
