SHERIDAN — The third annual Pints for Pussycats will be held at Black Tooth Brewing Company Oct. 17 from 5-9 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefit Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue, a local nonprofit with a mission to rescue and rehabilitate special-needs cats, provide free and low-cost spay/neuter services to the local community and assist people who need help keeping their pets during difficult life situations.
Throughout the day Oct. 17, a portion of all beer sales will be donated to Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue. Kennon Signs will match 100 percent of the proceeds. Representatives from the nonprofit will be at the brewery from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. that evening, and will be selling raffle tickets for prizes.
Prizes include gift certificates to Sackett’s Market and Valley Meat; packaged meat from Lohof’s Grassfed Beef; a handmade quilt; a bronze statue by Bunny Connell; six flower bouquets from Annie Greenthumbs; gift certificates to Big Goose Veterinary Clinic and Wellness Center; and a two-night stay at The Lodge in Deadwood, South Dakota.
Raffle winners will be announced at 9 p.m. Oct. 17, and winners do not need to be present to win. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at 945 Werco Ave. or at Black Tooth Brewing Company on Oct. 17. In addition to the raffle, the organization will also have a silent auction table, a 50/50 raffle and games.
