SHERIDAN — Frank McCarthy added to his 2016-17 Sheridan College women’s basketball team with the signing of Tyra Limpy Monday.

Limpy, a 5-foot-10 guard out of Colstrip (Montana) High School, joins Forsyth, Montana’s, Raelynn Keefer as the first recruits for the upcoming season.

Limpy averaged 18 points a game and shot 42 percent from behind the arc during her senior season at CHS. She earned both all-conference and all-state honors under head coach Roxie Wilson and was named academic all-state, as well.

The SC women finished 22-10 last season, earning their 12th 20-win season in 14 years.
