SHERIDAN — The Veterans of Foreign Wars #1560 will conducts its annual Buddy Poppy drive Friday and Saturday in Sheridan.

On Friday, the group will be at the Sheridan Veterans Affairs Medical Center. On Saturday, members of the VWF will be at Kmart and Wal-Mart from 9 a.m. to noon.

Buddy Poppies are made in hospitals by disabled veterans. Their distribution is meant to “honor the dead by helping the living.”

Donations to support veterans will be accepted during the drive.
