SHERIDAN — A group of local residents have organized a benefit concert to help raise funds to aid the refugee crisis in Europe.

The “Raise Your Voice” benefit concert will feature live music from The Craft Brothers and Sarah Sample on Friday at 7 p.m. Doors will open at the Carriage House Theater at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $15 and proceeds will be donated to the International Rescue Committee, which was started in 1933 to support World War II refugees. Now facing the worst refugee crisis since that war, 92 cents of every dollar donated will directly help IRC deliver critical and lifesaving aid, including safe drinking water, sanitation and protection from harm to vulnerable families fleeing to Europe from Syria and other conflict zones.

Tickets for the event are available through the WYO Theater box office, by phone at 672-9084 or online at

The Carriage House Theater is located at 419 Delphi Ave.
