SHERIDAN — The Lady Broncs volleyball team didn’t have the start to the 2015 season that they were probably hoping for, going winless over the weekend at the Cheyenne Invite.

After a 2-0 loss to Natrona and a 2-1 loss to Riverton Friday, Sheridan dropped three matches Saturday.

Spending much of the weekend battling 4A West opponents, the Lady Broncs got a look at some teams they won’t see again until potential battles in the state tournament.

Inconsistency seemed to be the theme of the weekend. The Lady Broncs simply couldn’t string together points.

In Saturday’s first match, Sheridan fell 2-0 (25-23, 25-11) to Kelly Walsh. 3A opponent Rawlins beat Sheridan 2-0 (25-17, 25-21) before the Lady Broncs ended the long weekend with a 2-0 (25-16, 25-21) loss to Rock Springs.

Sheridan will look to get on the right track when they head to Gillette this weekend for the Gillette Invite.
