SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Police Department arrested two men in connection with a Saturday armed robbery on West Burkitt Street.

Adam Broussard, 27, faces one count of aggravated robbery and one count of felony possession of a firearm. Keevin Ware, 20, was charged with aiding and abetting an armed robbery. A Sheridan County Circuit Court judge Tuesday set a cash or surety bond of $25,000 for Broussard and an unsecured bond of $5,000 for Ware.

At 7:47 p.m. on Saturday, SPD received a report of an alleged armed robbery at 419 W. Burkitt St. A female victim told officers Broussard and Ware stole $385 and threatened her with a handgun while conducting the robbery, SPD Lt. Tom Ringley said.

Officers later arrested Broussard and Ware, who had left the scene. SPD also recovered a handgun matching the victim’s description.
