BIG HORN — The Big Horn and Tongue River golf teams finished off the spring season at the conference championships over the weekend in Casper, and both teams played some of their best golf of the season.
The Big Horn boys finished third in the conference, and all five Rams finished in the top 20. Andy Quinn (181) and Jack Roberts (188) earned All-Conference honors for finishing eighth and 10th, respectively.
Tongue River was right behind them in fourth, and Ian Ostler earned All-Conference after shooting a 180 and finishing seventh.
For the girls, Tongue River finished second with a 686, just one shot behind champion Sundance-Hulett. Kylee Knobloch (202) finished fourth, and Grace Carr (223) finished tied for eighth, both earning All-Conference honors.
The Lady Rams finished fourth with a 718, and Jamie Kitterman took home third and an All-Conference selection with a 197.
Big Horn coach Mila Stender was pleased with the way the Rams ended the season and expects a number of her players to contend for state titles in the fall.
