SHERIDAN — On May 17, more than 800 petunias will be transplanted into more than 200 hanging baskets that will decorate Main Street north to Fort Road throughout the summer.

The Downtown Sheridan Association needs a “small army” of volunteers to help transplant the flowers and hang the baskets.

Volunteers are needed from 7 a.m. May 17 to approximately noon.

If interested in volunteering, call the DSA at 672-8881 to sign up.
