SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College AgriPark hosted its fourth and largest team roping event this past Sunday produced by the American Cowboy Team Roping Association. There were three different ropings in the event.

Brenda White and Shane Ellenwood took first in the first roping with an average of 33.01 seconds on three head. Tody Vineyard and James Baldwin (33.94) took second, and Joe Harriet and Jennifer Marquiss took third. Their 8.14 was the fastest time of the group.

In the second roping, Andrea and Kevin Stimson won the average with 19.82 seconds on three head. Weston Mann and JR Olson took second (22.45); Andrea Stimson and Cash Hetzel’s 24.30 was good enough for third.

Mann and Hetzel took fourth (33.60). Casey Teichert and Ellenwood had the fastest time in the round with a 5.92-second run.

Teichert and Hetzel took home first in the final roping of the day with a time of 20.52 on three head. Harriet and Hetzel took second (21.92), and Vineyard and Stimson finished third (23.29). Mann and Hetzel took fourth (25.44). The fastest time of the round was 6.80 by Teichert and Marquiss.

The next scheduled event at the AgriPark is ranch sorting on March 21.
