SHERIDAN — Sheridan College will host an open house Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. in the Edward A. Whitney Academic Center atrium to allow individuals to learn more about programs the community college offers.

College staff especially encourage residents older than 50 who didn’t finish college to head back to campus.

By combining life and work experience with a degree or certificate, older residents can open the door to new job opportunities, SC Director of the Center for Workforce and Community Education Karen St. Clair said.

The college’s Plus 50 program offers flexible scheduling, credit for work experience and other opportunities.

For additional information or to register for the open house, call 674-6446 ext. 4502.

Sheridan College is located at 3059 Coffeen Ave.
