SHERIDAN — As always, the annual Christmas Stroll event is set for the Friday after Thanksgiving in downtown Sheridan.

More than 100 Sheridan area businesses are participating in the stroll, giving out prizes leading up to Christmas.

This year’s event, with the theme “Sugar Plum Stroll,” will feature free trolley rides, free mini train rides, free hay wagon rides and free hot dogs  and hot chocolate.

In addition, there will be live music, cookies and much more.

This year’s Christmas Stroll button was designed by Jessica Stewart, who received $100 in Chamber Bucks as the No. 1 button.

Evan Feck, Ella Fedden and Elizabeth Stewart took home the runners-up awards in the contest, which was open to all first- through sixth-graders.
