SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information from the public about the shooting and wanton destruction of three deer in Sheridan County.

People are asked to contact WGFD officials if they have information about the following three poaching incidents:

• A white-tailed doe that was shot and left near Beckton Road west of Sheridan. No meat was removed from the animal.

• A buck mule deer was shot on the grounds of the Sheridan County Sportsmen’s Association. No meat was taken, nor were the antlers removed.

• A buck mule deer was shot on state land north of Clearmont. Only the antlers were removed, no meat was taken.

A cash reward is available for those who provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person who wantonly takes or destroys a big or trophy game animal.
