SHERIDAN — Donald and Joanne Larsen will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday.

Donald Larsen and Joanne Skaar were married on Sept. 18, 1954, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheridan.

Joanne Larsen was employed by Sheridan College in the dental hygiene program and her husband was employed by Wortham Machinery.

They are both retired and involved in various community and church activities.

The Larsens have three children: Donnie and Cheryl Larsen of Buffalo, Debbie and Jim Christensen of San Tan Valley, Arizona, and Connie and Dave Gunderson of Yankton, South Dakota.

They have eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

They celebrated with a family dinner in Spearfish, South Dakota.
