SHERIDAN — First Light Children’s Center has been awarded a $143,000 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Preschool grant by the Wyoming Department of Education.

Eligible preschools must provide a high quality program as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and provide preschool for local underserved children. First Light is again the only TANF Preschool grant recipient in Sheridan after being awarded the grant for its second time. For more information see or stop by the school located at 366 E.
