20130405 SheridanCelenaKelly01-bmWeb.1SHERIDAN — Robbi Ryan scored two first-half goals to give the Sheridan girls soccer team a 2-1 lead, but the Cheyenne East girls scored four unanswered goals to give the Lady Thunderbirds a 5-2 win in Cheyenne.
“We had a pretty poor defensive effort,” said Sheridan coach Tom Racette. “We didn’t adjust to how they were playing and we made way too many defensive mistakes.”

The Lady Broncs scored first, but East led 4-2 at halftime.

“We are a very young team and this is a learning experience,” Racette said. “We will keep growing.”
Sheridan (3-4-1 and 1-2 in conference play) will take on Cheyenne Central today at noon.
