SHERIDAN — Staff of the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library have organized a series of activities with a Harry Potter theme.

Below is the list of events planned.

• Oct. 21 — Fans of the series are encouraged to stop by the library or see the library’s Facebook page to enter an essay contest for a chance to win a magical prize.

• Oct. 22 — A scavenger hunt will include a search for magical beasts. The hunt will be available between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

• Oct. 23 — Join a wandmaking craft from 4-5 p.m. in the Inner Circle. All children younger than 11 should have an adult helper.

• Oct. 24 — Build your own bowtruckle from 4-5 p.m. in the Inner Circle. All children younger than 11 should have an adult helper.

• Oct. 25 — Design a dragon egg from 4-5 p.m. in the Inner Circle. All children younger than 11 should have an adult helper.

• Oct. 26 — Join the library staff for a Harry Potter celebration Oct. 26 from 2-3 p.m. The event will include snacks, trivia and prizes. Costumes are encouraged by not required. Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library is located at 335 W. Alger St.
