Papa John’s closes doors

Papa John’s in Sheridan officially closed its doors Aug. 18. It announced the closure Aug. 9 via its Facebook page and announced again when the business officially closed its doors.

“Rip-off Band-Aid time. Your Papa John’s is closing its doors on Sunday Aug. 18th after 6 short years of business, the last 2 with Misty and Patrick,” a Facebook post read. “Our GM Misty strived to give the best pizza in town, with a smile and gratitude. Our employees past and present want to thank Sheridan for the opportunity to serve our neighbors.”


West-inspired scents candle shop opens

WYO Candle Co., owned and operated by Megan and Dwight Stanislaw, officially opened a storefront at 41 S. Main St. The storefront is primarily a production house and has limited hours that are announced on Facebook and Instagram. Merchandise is available online and during operating hours at Twisted Hearts.


Cowboy Creamery distributes region-wide

SHERIDAN — Cowboy Creamery Corporation, an ice cream company based in Sheridan, has expanded its reach to surrounding states.

The corporation, founded in 2018, currently distributes to Sheridan, Jefferson, Natrona, Converse and Crook counties in Wyoming. The business will expand into central and southern Wyoming, Bozeman and Billings, Montana, Fort Collins and Greeley in Colorado and southwest South Dakota.
