SHERIDAN — A woman was pronounced deceased at Sheridan Memorial Hospital Aug. 21 after a motorcycle crash threw two riders from a motorcycle on I-90 near mile marker 27 in Sheridan.
Debra Fulton, the passenger, and Barry Fulton, the driver of the motorcycle, were taken to the hospital for injuries. Debra Fulton’s next of kin have been notified of the incident.
Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sheridan County Sheriff’s Department, Goose Valley Fire Department and Sheridan Fire Department responded to reports of a motorcycle crash at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Cpt. Jason Green said there is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash, but it appears the rear wheel separated from the motorcycle. The cause is currently listed as equipment failure.
They were traveling at the speed limit at the time of the crash, Green said.
The husband and wife were traveling through Wyoming from Tennessee.
