SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Jets baseball team won a doubleheader Thursday at Douglas to improve to 31-9 overall.

Sheridan came away victorious 10-2 in the first game and won 15-1 in five innings during the second matchup. In the first contest, the Jets tallied six runs in the first two innings to cruise to the easy victory. Hunter Stone recorded two hits and an RBI while Rich Hall drove in two runs. Brock Steel and Sean Barrett both pitched three innings without allowing an earned run.

In the second game, Sheridan plated nine runs in the fifth inning to win the contest due to the 10-run rule. Anthony Carlson tallied two hits and three RBIs, while Steel totaled four RBIs. Stone drove in two runs and pitched three scoreless innings.

The Jets host Rapid City Post 320 for a doubleheader Monday beginning at 3 p.m.
