SHERIDAN — The Kiwanis Club will once again sponsor the annual duck races set for July 12 at 1 p.m.

Priced at $5 per duck, 1,000 rubber ducks will be numbered and sold to the public for the races. On the day of the event, the ducks are released into Big Goose Creek at Kendrick Park where they will race to the finish line.

Individuals who bought ducks finishing in first, second and third place win cash prizes. First place receives $500, second place gets $200 and third place $100.

Ducks are available for purchase from WYO Performing Arts and Education Center or from members of the Kiwanis Club. Ducks will also be available for purchase at the event.
