SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Jets baseball team went 1-1 Saturday against Powell.

Sheridan lost 10-5 in the first game before recovering for a 13-2 win in the second game. The Jets are now 20-7 overall.

In the first game, Caden Steel tallied two hits and two RBIs, while David Almaraz had three hits and drove in a run. Almaraz also pitched 4 1/2 innings in relief, allowing five hits and one earned run while fanning five batters.

In the second matchup, Rich Hall recorded two hits and drove in three runs, while Brock Steel tallied three hits and two RBIs.

The Jets host Casper for a doubleheader Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m.
