SHERIDAN — Doc Talk is coming to The HUB on Smith 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The topic will be advanced directives.
An advanced directive is a document by which individuals can make provision for their healthcare decisions in the event they become unable to do so in the future. These legal documents help patients take control of tough decisions instead of putting family members in a difficult situation.
Speakers will be Dr. Kristopher Schamber from Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s internal medicine practice and lawyer Christopher Sherwood from Yonkee and Toner.
The event is free and open to the public.
