BUFFALO — The UW Extension office and Sheridan College are sponsoring Discover Native Plants Friday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Johnson County Youth Camp.

Discover Native Plants is a one-day interactive workshop to learn how to identify local native plants, introduced species and their ecology. Adults and young people accompanied by an adult are welcomed to attend. No prior knowledge of plants is necessary.

The cost is $20 and includes lunch and plant ID materials. To register, go to: Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
