SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Troopers fell 12-8 in a nine-inning affair at Billings Sunday. The loss drops the Troopers to 7-9 on the season.

Jacob Boint received the nod to start and went 3 2/3 innings, yielding six earned runs on six hits with four strikeouts and seven walks. Carter Dubberley, Eric Taylor and Dalton Nelson combined to toss 4 1/3 innings of relief, giving up two earned runs.

Nelson also laid claim to the lone two-RBI day, while Dubberley, Boint, Justice Rees and Ayden Roush each collected one RBI.

Sheridan struggle defensively, committing four errors, which resulted in four unearned runs.

The Troopers travel to Casper for a doubleheader Monday evening.
