SHERIDAN — The Sheridan High School girls soccer team picked up a quality win Friday night with a 3-1 victory over fifth-ranked Laramie.

The Lady Broncs improved to 2-5 in conference and 2-6 overall.

Sheridan’s Braylee Standish began the scoring with a goal in the 18th minute, and the Lady Broncs took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Sheridan held off the Lady Plainsmen in the second half and received an insurance goal from Nichole Johnson in the 75th minute to make it 3-1.

The Lady Broncs play at Cheyenne South Saturday at noon.
