SHERIDAN — Sheridan High School’s Josh Ahrens was a part of the Montana Tech football team’s 26-man signing class. The former Broncs’ wide receiver represented the only player from the state of Wyoming to sign with the Orediggers.

Ahrens ranked ninth in the state in receiving as a senior. He reeled in 26 receptions for 447 yards with four touchdowns for the Broncs who were runner-ups.

Ahrens plans to pursue a degree in petroleum engineering.
