Zilers marking 40 years

SHERIDAN — Kermit Ziler and Sandi Workman-Ziler of Sheridan will have a 40th wedding anniversary celebration Saturday.

A potluck barbecue, open to family and friends, will be held at noon at the large shelter at Kendrick Park.

The Zilers were married July 28, 1973, in Hardin, Mont.
Kermit Ziler, a lifetime fan of trains, worked as a conductor for BNSF Railway for 30 years and retired in 2007.

Sandi Workman-Ziler worked as the administrative assistant at the Sierra Club for 20 years and retired in 2004.

The couple enjoys working on their home and yard, spending time at the Veterans of Foreign Wars with friends and traveling to see friends and family across Wyoming and Montana.

Kermit Ziler is an active member of Sheridan’s model railroad club.
Sandi Workman-Ziler is an avid reader and crochets for her nieces and nephews.

The Zilers have three children, Robin Ziler and Larry (Kelsey Golden) Ziler, both of Billings and Kendra Ziler of Casper.
They have also raised their granddaughter, Robbie Ziler, now 15, since she was a baby.
