SHERIDAN — The Wyoming State 4-H Foundation has announced the recipients of $62,000 in scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year and two local students were among the recipients.

Students from the University of Wyoming and Wyoming community colleges will receive monetary support toward continuing their education with approximately $30,000 being awarded to first-time winners this year.

Royce Mercer of Big Horn was awarded the Wallace Scholarship in the amount of $750.

Mary Schwope of Big Horn was awarded the J.M. Nichols scholarship in the amount of $300.
