LARAMIE (AP) — Two players, including a starting guard, have left the Wyoming women’s basketball program.
Coach Joe Legerski announced Tuesday that reserve forward Aubry Boehme and guard Alison Gorrell have decided not to return next season. He says they are pursuing other opportunities.
Gorrell started all 32 games this past season for the Cowgirls.
The 5-foot-10 Gorrell averaged 3.8 points and a team high 3.7 assists per game. Over the past two seasons, she averaged 4 points and 2.8 assists per contest.
Boehme played in 28 of 32 games in her first year with the program. The 6-foot forward averaged 1.2 points and almost one rebound per contest.
