DAYTON — Tongue River track competed at the Bill Gerrard track meet in Greybull this past weekend.

“The weather was great,” head coach Chuck Walters said. “The meet was very small, but it was great nonetheless for us to be able to get times and distance in.”

Tongue River’s Miciah Huff placed first in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.11, fourth in the 200-meter run at 25.38, and with a time of 12.28 took fifth in the 100-meter.

“Miciah Huff had a good meet as well placing in three individual events,” Walters said.

Dillon Lyons placed third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.30 and sixth in the 100-meter with a time of 12.32. Leroy Jefferson placed second in the 800-meter with a time of 2:27.80. Kendall Walters placed third in the discus with a distance of 32.99 and a distance of 10.86 earned him sixth for shot put. Mason Schroder placed fourth in shot put at a distance of 11.26 with Jaxn Kobza right behind him in fifth. Cody Buller placed sixth in the high jump with a leap of 1.62.

Lizzy Martin placed second in the 400-meter with a time of 1:09.25, placed fourth in the 100-meter with a time of 15.03 and fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at 20.5. Jenna Plymell placed third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 20.36 and fifth in the 200-meter run with a time of 34.72.

Courtney Jolovich took first in the 1600-meter race with a time of 6.33.00 and 800-meter with a time of 2.52.07. Polina Medianna placed sixth in the 200-meter with a time of 35.07. Ashley Dodge placed first in the discus throwing event, tossing a 26.82 with Sarah Bacon right behind her in second. In the shot put, Bacon placed first a distance of 9.82 with Dodge behind her in second.

“Lizzy Martin and Ashley Dodge in particular had a good meet,” Walters said, noting that Martin placed in three events and Dodge threw personal bests.

Tongue River track will compete in Basin on Friday.
