SHERIDAN — Due to the possibility of a home Sheridan Broncs playoff game next Friday, the Sheridan College-hosted Wyoming Cowgirls game time has been moved back one hour.

The Wyoming Cowgirls are scheduled to play Montana State-Northern Fri. Nov. 8 at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome, and that game will now tip-off at 8 p.m.

If the No. 2-seed Sheridan Broncs defeat the No. 7-seed Laramie Plainsmen this Friday, they will host a 4A state semifinal Nov. 8 against the winner of the first-round Cheyenne Central/Cheyenne East game.

University of Wyoming Athletics officials didn’t want their game to interfere with the potential semifinal game, which would start at 6 p.m. at Homer Scott Field.

To purchase tickets for the Cowgirls game, contact the UW Ticket Office by going online at gowyo.com/tickets/wyo-tickets.html or by calling 1-877-WYO-FAN1.

As of Tuesday morning, UW had sold 650 of the 1,000 tickets they plan to sell for the game.

If the game does not sell out in advance, tickets will be available at the door. A will-call table will be set up that night for those who ordered tickets.

The Cowgirls open exhibition play against Chadron State this Friday at 7 p.m. in Laramie.
