SHERIDAN — Sheridan County’s high school rodeo team spent Mother’s Day weekend competing in Gillette, and the team garnered three top performances at the two-day event.

Shyanna Cahoy and Ellie Bard set the tone right away with two wins Saturday. Cahoy took the top spot in barrel racing with a 14.689-second ride; Bard won the breakaway roping performance with a time of 2.520 seconds.

Saije Pollard completed the breakaway-roping sweep with a win Sunday, taking the event in 2.630 seconds.
