SHERIDAN — The Civic Theatre Guild will present “God of Carnage,” a dark comedy by Yasmina Reza, at the Carriage House Theater, 419 Delphi Ave.
A playground altercation between 11-year-old boys brings two sets of Brooklyn parents together for a meeting to resolve the matter.
At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses and the scotch flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters.
The play is directed by Matt Davis.
It will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4, 5, 11 and 12. Sunday matinees will be Oct. 6 and Oct. 13 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, students and active military.
Purchase tickets online at www.wyotheater.com, by calling 672-9084 or at the WYO Theater box office at 42 N. Main St.
