‘Stars’ auditions next week

SHERIDAN — The Kiwanis will host “Stars of Tomorrow” auditions on Tuesday and Thursday.

This youth talent show is open to children in three categories: elementary, junior high and high school.

First-, second- and third-place winners in each category will receive a trophy and a certificate.

There will also be an overall winner award who will receive a scholarship toward the college of their choice and is given the opportunity to compete at the district level.

Tuesday at 7 p.m. kids kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to audition.

Thursday at 7 p.m. kids sixth through 12th grade are invited to audition.

The show will be presented Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.

All auditions and the performance will be held at the WYO Theater located at 42 N. Main St.

Tickets for the performance will be $8 for adults, $5 for students under age 18 and free for children five years old and younger.
