SHERIDAN — Sheridan College has added another volleyball recruit.

Head coach Jennifer Weitzel announced last week that Jenna Jordan will transfer from NCAA Dvision II Black Hills State University to join the Lady Generals this fall.

“We are ecstatic to have Jenna joining our program,” Weitzel said. “She brings a ton of experience at a high level and knows how to run a collegiate-level offense. Jenna will be a big part of implementing tempo into our offensive schemes this season.”

She was a setter for BHSU, where she played in 17 matches recording 171 assists and 41 digs as a freshman.

Jordan graduated from Lakewood High School in Colorado in 2011 where she led her team to a 5A Colorado State tournament third place finish. As the team captain during her senior season, Jordan recorded a total of 474 assists, 136 digs and 41 service aces and helped her team to a 26-4 record.
