Sheridan Broncs topple Cheyenne South, 3-0

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Broncs won Saturday on the road against Cheyenne South 3-0. The Broncs have now seen South twice and won both times.

“It was a good win after the Laramie game,” head coach Kevin Rizer said. “South is getting better, and our boys played well.”

The Broncs went into halftime leading 1-0. In the second half, they were quick to score two points.

“We dominated the match from the beginning to the end,” Rizer said. “The team has been working on using our system that we set up each game, and they are getting real good at it. They are starting to really force our style in the game.”

The first time they played against South they won at home 9-0.

Earlier this season, the Broncs earned a 1-0 win on the road against East and lost 1-2 against Central.

The Broncs will host Central on Friday at 6 p.m. Saturday they will host East at noon.
