SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Conservation District has organized “Rural Living in Wyoming” workshops for Thursday at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library.

The classes will take place in the Inner Circle. Session one will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will cover native and WaterWise landscaping. The speaker will be Jennifer Thompson from the University of Wyoming Extension.

The interim session will begin at 6:50 p.m. and will cover invasive grasses in Sheridan County. The speakers are Brian Mealor from UW Sheridan Research and Extension Center and Luck Sander from Sheridan County Weed and Pest.

Session two, “Beautiful, Productive, Wildlife-Friendly Acreages,” begins at 7 p.m. and the speakers are Ryan Amundson from Wyoming Game and Fish Department and Andrew Cassiday, Natural Resources Conservation Service district conservationist Andrew Cassiday.

The workshops are free to the public.

Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library is located at 335 W. Alger St.
